This spring’s retreat was a day to reconnect as a team, align on goals, and set intentions for the year ahead. With team members gathered from Aspen and Boulder, we used the time to step back and look at the bigger picture. Explore Colorado Gulch, a quiet family sanctuary set within Leadville’s peaceful pine woods. This project embodies the perfect blend of modern design and timeless vernacular roots, featuring four distinct structures. Each structure boasts its own unique personality, while a shared exterior material palette unites them harmoniously.

Nestled in the foothills of Boulder, the Mountain Ridge Project is taking shape. This design is deeply rooted in the land, emerging from the scars of the previous structure as a symbol of regrowth, rebirth, and healing. The home’s dynamic zigzag form responds to the site, creating a series of interwoven courtyards that balance openness and intimacy while seamlessly stitching the architecture into the hillside.
As construction progresses, we are excited to see our vision come to life—elevating over the terrain with a branch-like floor plan that captures evolving light, frames stunning mountain views, and fosters a deep connection to the landscape.
