Studio B Named to Forbes’ 2026 America’s Top 200 Residential Architects
Studio B Architecture + Interiors is honored to be named to Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Top 200 Residential Architects, recognizing leading residential architecture practices from across the country.
The annual list is the result of an extensive editorial review process. For 2026, previously recognized firms were invited to submit a single exemplary residence completed since 2021, with additional practices also considered. Each firm was evaluated by Forbes editors and an advisory board based on its submitted project, overall body of work, professional accomplishments, and alignment with the publication’s residential design principles.
Those principles consider qualities ranging from siting and local context, architectural form and detailing, materials and craft, and spatial experience to natural light, indoor-outdoor relationships, sustainability, and environmental responsibility, values that have long been central to Studio B’s approach.
We are grateful to our clients, collaborators, craftspeople, and the entire Studio B team whose commitment makes work like this possible.
For our 2026 submission, we selected Parkside Villa, a transformation of an existing 9,100-square-foot Boulder residence that demonstrates the potential of thoughtful renovation.
Rather than starting over, the project works within the framework of the existing home, using a series of precise architectural interventions to fundamentally reshape its relationship to light, landscape, and daily life. Architecture and interiors were conceived together as a unified experience, balancing restraint, materiality, craft, and performance.
Its selection for our Forbes submission feels particularly representative of what we believe residential architecture can accomplish: a home shaped not by a predetermined style, but by the opportunities of its place and the lives of the people who inhabit it.
The recognition comes during a significant year for Parkside Villa, which has also received a 2026 ASID Colorado Crystal Award and an AIA Colorado Award of Merit.
