Studio B Architecture + Interiors is seeking an experienced Architect to join our Aspen studio.
This position is based exclusively in Aspen and reflects the current project needs of our Aspen team. It is a full-time, in-person role and is not available in our Boulder studio or as a remote or hybrid position.
We’re looking for an Architect with 8+ years of professional experience, a refined design sensibility, and an approach that aligns with Studio B’s commitment to thoughtful, highly detailed modern architecture.

Qualifications:
Outstanding verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
Licensed Architect.
Strong design sensibility.
Perceptive, adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of the entire studio to ensure that the firm and its staff are running efficiently.
Sense of humor.
8+ years of experience in the field of architecture.
Experience working on high-end residential projects.
Initiates and creates project designs and plans for all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings.
Strong Construction Documentation Skills.
Ability to work on one or more projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Principals and Project Leaders to develop design concepts and solutions.
Manage daily project tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
Assist in the selection and specification of architectural materials.
Prepare and maintain accurate drafting and construction documents.
Create physical and digital models to visualize design concepts.
Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout all project phases.
Develop and format client presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
Conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
Management Tasks:
Project management and coordination across multiple luxury residential projects.
Ability to successfully manage 2–3 projects simultaneously while balancing deadlines, budgets, consultant coordination, procurement, and client expectations.
Assisting in the mentoring of junior staff.
Oversee support staff and/or design team.
Architectural Tasks:
Developing Project Design with Principal Direction.
Meeting with Clients, Contractors and Vendors.
Coordinating Project Consultants., Trades or Agencies.
Organizing Daily Project Tasks.
Developing and Maintaining Project Schedules.
Selecting and Specifying Architectural Materials and Details.
Drafting and Construction Documents.
Construction Administration.
Oversee Quality Control on Projects.
Responsible and accountable for the drawing set.
Developing and Design Formatting Client Presentations.
Code, Zoning and Permitting Research.
Software:
Proficient in Revit.
Proficient in Rhino or Sketch-up.
Proficient in Lumion, rendering software.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, In-Design, Acrobat.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
Based in Aspen.
This position is based exclusively in our Aspen studio and is an in-person role; remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates who do not currently live in the Aspen area should include their willingness and ability to relocate in their cover letter.
Salary: $95K–$115K (DOE) + Benefits, including Health Insurance, 401K and Paid Time Off.
