This virtual museum was designed for artist Jamie Kripke as an alternative medium for patrons to experience his latest collection of work, The Divide. Through thorough investigation and collaboration with Jamie, the design of the environment and architecture aims to embody and bolster the rich narrative and visual language portrayed in the work itself. When viewing the artwork, the ridgeline of the mountains beyond is visible and reflected through the architecture’s translucent skin, integrating the artwork in the landscape.

While this primarily acts as a space for viewing Kripke’s art, The Kripke Virtual Museum is a step towards shaping how we interact and experience ecommerce, marketplaces, and product presentation on the internet. Once the museum is published on Jamie’s new website it will provide patrons with an understanding of the dimensions and scale of his purchasable work.
