Panorama House is a modern renovation of a mid-century residence in Boulder, Colorado that preserves the spirit of the original architecture while elevating spatial flow, comfort, and energy performance. The design clarifies horizontal rooflines and structural rhythms while opening the plan to strengthen connections between interior spaces and surrounding foothill views. Carefully calibrated glazing frames the Flatirons and draws daylight deep into the home, reinforcing the relationship between architecture and landscape. Interior materials balance mid-century warmth with contemporary restraint, pairing natural wood tones, stone surfaces, and integrated millwork with curated furnishings that respect the home’s architectural lineage. The residence achieves net-zero energy consumption through efficient building assemblies and active energy generation via PV panels and geothermal heating systems.
