This partially buried compound near Colorado Springs is for two sisters who requested both calming private spaces and playful common areas; a home that was restorative yet intriguing, full of mystery and discovery. The concept of the Infinite Loop design was derived from this premise.

Two modern living villas anchor the home and provide the clients their respective private sanctuaries, each villa with views towards both Pikes Peak and the twinkling night lights of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Glass corridors connect the two, along which supporting play areas — a music room, game room, gym and shared kitchen/dining space — are placed. The circulation path forms a continuous unbroken loop and creates a protected courtyard in the center of the home for outdoor dining and wildlife protection.
