For the 2026 Best-In-State recognition, Studio B submitted Parkside Villa, a transformation of an existing 9,100-square-foot Boulder residence.

Studio B Architecture + Interiors’ transformation of a Boulder residence is featured in ArchDaily, highlighting an approach to renovation that balances architectural precision, thoughtful interiors, and environmental performance.

The feature explores how the existing 9,100-square-foot home was reimagined while preserving its original foundation and much of its structural framework. Linear brick, warm wood cladding, and expansive glazing establish a new architectural identity, while a series of courtyards, terraces, and gathering spaces strengthen the connection between indoors and out.

ArchDaily also highlights the project’s technical and sustainable design strategies, including a concealed 60-foot steel truss, a 26.8-kilowatt solar array, battery storage, and geothermal systems.

Recently recognized by AIA Colorado, ASID Colorado, and the American Architecture Awards, Parkside Villa continues to demonstrate the possibilities of thoughtful residential renovation.

We appreciate ArchDaily for sharing the project with its international architecture and design audience.
