We are honored to share that our Vista Drive Pavilion project has been featured in Dwell, showcasing our commitment to modernist design that thoughtfully responds to both site and client vision.
Located in Boulder, Colorado, Vista Drive Pavilion is a serene family retreat set against a backdrop of stunning mountain views. This project seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a sense of tranquility while celebrating the natural beauty of its surroundings.
The design features a simple yet striking palette of glass, steel, and natural materials, offering a minimalist aesthetic that prioritizes light, space, and connection to nature. Large expanses of glazing frame panoramic views, while courtyards and covered patios invite a seamless transition between interior and exterior living.
The Dwell article highlights how the design takes cues from the landscape, with the home’s elevated structure “floating above grade” to minimize site disturbance and embrace the existing terrain. This deliberate approach not only preserves the natural context but also enhances the home’s relationship with the outdoors.
Inside, clean lines and warm materials balance modern minimalism with a welcoming atmosphere. Thoughtfully placed openings ensure that every space captures light and views, fostering a dynamic yet serene experience throughout the home.
We are grateful to Dwell for recognizing Vista Drive Pavilion, a project that reflects our belief in creating spaces that are artful, timeless, and deeply rooted in place.
The kitchen, unlike the rest of the home, is a dark central core reflecting the blackened exterior, drawing attention to itself as the focal point and heart of this modern home.
