Conor Burrows

Designer

Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture

University of Colorado, Boulder

Conor was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, where the mountains and endless adventures captured his heart from a young age. At 18 months old, he was introduced to the thrill of skiing, igniting a lifelong love with mountaineering and the enchanting Elk Mountain Range. However, his passion extended far beyond the slopes; it resonated deeply with his fascination for design, a passion that began to emerge during his early years of constructing intricate LEGO creations. As he took his first step into the world of architecture through a sixth-grade internship, the path to becoming an architect became clear, a dream that had rooted itself as long as he can remember.

Before pursuing his architectural studies at the University of Colorado, Conor ventured into the realm of property management, delving into the world of high-end residential architecture nestled within the Roaring Fork Valley. These experiences spiked his creativity but also finely tuned his discerning eye for detail, preparing him for the artistic and technical challenges ahead.

Following his graduation, Conor embarked on a journey, immersing himself in a teaching program in the heart of Northeastern, Thailand. This allowed him to explore a rich tapestry of cultures and architectural wonders that Southeast Asia had to offer, expanding his horizons, and enriching his perspective on design and sustainability.

Now, back on home soil, Conor returns with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to blend the various inspirations from his global adventures into his architectural endeavors. His love for design and strong dedication to sustainability drives his desire to create architecture that goes beyond borders, making a lasting impact on the world through a harmonious mix of modern style and eco-friendly innovation. You can often find Conor skiing, hiking 14ers, or road biking in his free time.
