Phases of Architecture

1. Pre-Design | Research + Listen

2. Schematic Design | Design + Create
Concepts take shape through sketches, models, and early design studies. We explore options, refine ideas with the owner, and begin aligning the design with budget and stakeholder input. This phase establishes the overall direction of the project.

3. Design Development | Refine + Edit
The preferred design is further developed with consultant collaboration and technical refinement. Materials, systems, and spatial decisions are clarified, pricing is refined, and approvals are reconfirmed to ensure the project remains aligned with goals and budget.

4. Construction Documents | Draw + Specify
Detailed drawings and specifications are prepared so the project can be accurately priced and built. Coordination with consultants continues, permits are secured, and construction details are finalized to guide execution in the field.

5. Construction Administration | Implement + Build
During construction, we collaborate closely with the builder through site visits, drawing reviews, and coordination meetings. Our role is to help ensure the design intent is carried through to the finished building.

6. Post Completion | Evaluate + Support
After construction, we support final adjustments, building evaluations, and documentation. Photography and client feedback complete the process, ensuring the home performs as intended and owners are fully supported in occupying their new space.
